Embrace yourself Acrophobia’s! China has thrown open a terrifying 4600-ft glass walkway, daring brave visitors to walk along a cliff with an echoing drop on the other side.
So, if you are scared of heights, then your best bet would be to look away, because this walkway is your worst nightmare come true. While the awe-inspiring fact that it adjoins a gigantic mountain at an insane height of 4,600ft (1,403 meters) is scary enough, the fact that it is also master-crafted of glass might tame the spirit of the bravest of the brave.
Nestled at one side of the Tianmen Mountain in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the walkway stretches for 330ft (100 meters) whereas it is and 5.2ft (1.6 metres) broad.
Widely regarded as the Coiling Dragon Cliff skywalk, it certainly isn’t for the faint-hearted. But still if you dare to cross it, you’ll be rewarded with an incredibly breathtaking view that you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
This mountainous area is relatively popular among the tourists for its jaw-dropping natural scenery as well as remarkably new attractions, the glass-bottomed walkways.
